Reviews and Ratings
On first sight, the rooms looked pretty old but turned out to be very clean and modern, leading to an extremely quiet and restful night's sleep. The hostel-style setting might not be for everyone, but overall a comfortable stay.
The hotel offered a mix of experiences, with really nice and quiet rooms but hindered by some noise. The location was exceptional, right in the heart of Edinburgh, though dining was a bit hit or miss with pricing concerns. The service was efficient and helpful, making our stay ideal.
The hotel is located over the city shops close by and visitor attractions, offering a great city experience. Although the special bathroom for disabled people was inconvenient for non-disabled guests, the sauna provided a relaxing feature even with the radiator off.
The hotel is perfectly situated right on the Royal Mile, offering convenient access to all major sites and Rabbies Tours at 7am. The rooms, though not particularly spacious, provide a cozy retreat within the bustling hotel environment. The service from all staff members was exceptionally helpful and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay. While the location is ideal for exploring both old and new town Edinburgh, it can be a bit challenging to regulate room temperature. The breakfast dining experience, except for a few shortcomings, was quite expensive. Overall, a well-located hotel with friendly staff and cozy rooms.
